Kainchi Dham gained prominence after Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple Inc., visited the temple in 1973 during a soul-searching journey to India.   • Summer (March to June) : The best time to enjoy the sights is during the summer when Nainital is highly visited. With daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F), the climate remains pleasant. Boating on Naini Lake is a lot of fun when the weather is nice.
